The last few months have been completely insane (not in chronological order):
- 2nd year of grad school
- Apartment fire the night before we move in
- Keith takes (and passes) second year boards
- A tree falls and smashes my car (picture a hot dog in a bun; i.e. the tree in the roof of my car)
- The apartment never gets fixed, so we ask for our security deposit
- I get the flu in the same week that Keith has menengitis
- We don’t get the security deposit back from the apartment
- I get to start dancing again(!!)
- Keith applies to residency programs
- Keith lives in Las Vegas for a month
- I lived in Elizabeth, NJ; Milford, CT; Riverside, CT; East Lyme, CT; Mystic, CT; Midtown Manhattan; and the Upper West Side of Manhattan in 4 months
Throughout the last few months, I’ve learned a lot about being joyful regardless of my circumstances. Right now I’m sitting in a friends apartment, looking at all my belongings packed into four bags and am thankful I’m in the company of friends!
